Terms and conditions for therapy services
1. Our therapy services
As part of providing our psychological and health-based services, it is necessary for us to collect and record personal information. The information gathered is part of our assessment and treatment. It enables your therapist to provide a relevant and informed professional service.
2. Confidentiality
All personal information gathered by the practitioner during the provision of the health based service will remain confidential and secure except where:
A court subpoenas information
Failure to disclose the information would place you or another person at serious and imminent risk.
Or as required by law.
There may be times when, as part of the assessment and therapy process it may be helpful for your therapist to liaise with other people or agencies relevant to your goals. Additional consent forms will be requested in these instances.
Please note, if you are accessing our services via the NDIS funding scheme your therapist may be requested to submit an annual summary report based on the therapy process and goals. This report will assist the NDIS funding scheme to allocate further funds if continued therapy is required. This report will be charged to your NDIS provider based on 4 hours of your current NDIS rate of service.
3. Session length and fees
All therapy sessions are 60 minutes in duration. The cost of therapy sessions will be discussed and set out before treatment commences. Fees are payable at the end of the session and, unless otherwise discussed, will be processed by your practitioner. Payment can be made by eftpos or direct debit.
For NDIS clients all sessions will be invoiced directly to the your nominated funding provider. Invoices will be sent via email within 7 working days.
4. Cancellation
If you need to cancel or postpone your appointment, at least 24 hours notice is required. A cancellation fee of 100% will be charged if insufficient notice is given. If the original appointment was booked online via our online bookings calendar, the appointment can be cancelled online using the link provided in the online bookings confirmation email (as long as it is outside the 24 hour period). If the appointment was booked via email or over the phone, the appointment must be cancelled via phone (0494122850) or email at hello@happymess.com.au. We will not accept cancellations via SMS. If you fail to attend an appointment with no notice of cancellation, the full fee will apply. If a cancellation was made due to unavoidable circumstances, then we will try our best to reschedule the appointment but it will be at the discretion of the Happymess Studio practitioners. If numerous consecutive cancellations are made, then it is also at our discretion to charge a non-refundable deposit for future sessions.
5. Starting on time
Sessions are strictly 60 minutes and will not extend past the hour due to late arrivals. Full fees apply in circumstances of late arrival.
6. Conditions of cancellation policy
If a cancellation fee has been charged, it must be paid prior to the provision of any further services.

Terms and conditions for creative workshops and events.
1. Our creative workshops and events
All workshops and events must be paid in full at the time of booking. Bookings can be made via our website or in person (in store or over the phone) via eftpos or direct debit.
2. Confidentiality
All personal information collected when securing a booking (such as name, email and phone number) will be kept confidential and will not be sold to any third party. No payment details will be kept on file.
3. Cancellation
All workshops and event bookings are non refundable. If advanced notice of 5 working days is given, The Happymess Studio will endeavour to reschedule your booking for another workshop or event in the future.
4. Starting on time
Please arrive ten minutes prior to your scheduled workshop or event.
